VOLUNTEER
EXPERIENCE
Volunteering at The Daily Bread can be a rewarding experience for individuals, families, groups and business colleagues. Children aged 8-14 are welcome with parent supervision. High school and college students who need volunteer hours are welcome to contact The Daily Bread.
Appropriate clothing: closed-toe shoes, baseball cap, clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, layers in colder months, nothing that is revealing.
While serving, you must wear a hairnet (if you didn't bring a hat) and gloves. Long hair must be tied back. Aprons are available.
Many patrons enjoy seeing new faces and interacting with volunteers.

VOLUNTEERING
We are dependent on volunteers to fulfill the mission of alleviating hunger in Lenawee County. Volunteer shifts are Tuesday-Saturday from 11:15am-1:45pm. We schedule one month in advance and need 3-4 volunteers daily.
Volunteers serve the patrons lunch or help with other projects. Wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty as well as closed toe shoes and a hat. Dress in layers during the winter months, as it tends to be cold in the building. Aprons are available.
